HubSpot Customer Platform vs individual hubs: which is cheaper?
Last verified September 26, 2026 · Next check October 26, 2026
The Customer Platform bundles all six HubSpot hubs at one price: $1,300 a month on Professional and $4,700 on Enterprise (annual billing). Buying all six hubs separately costs about 40% more. But most companies don't need all six. If you only need Marketing and Sales, buying the hubs separately is usually cheaper. The bundle starts to win once you add Content, Data or Revenue Hub on top of Marketing.
Key numbers (annual billing, US list prices)
| Professional | Enterprise | |
|---|---|---|
| Customer Platform | $1,300/mo | $4,700/mo |
| Seats included | 6 | 8 |
| Credits included | 5,000/mo | 10,000/mo |
| All six hubs bought separately (1 seat on per-seat hubs) | $2,245/mo | $7,540/mo |
| Difference | 42% less with the bundle | 38% less with the bundle |
What the six hubs cost separately
| Hub | Professional | Enterprise | How it's priced |
|---|---|---|---|
| Marketing Hub | $800/mo, 3 core seats | $3,600/mo, 5 core seats | Platform fee |
| Content Hub | $450/mo, 3 core seats | $1,500/mo, 5 core seats | Platform fee |
| Data Hub | $720/mo, 1 core seat | $2,000/mo, 1 core seat | Platform fee |
| Sales Hub | $90 per sales seat | $150 per sales seat | Per seat |
| Service Hub | $90 per service seat | $150 per service seat | Per seat |
| Revenue Hub | $95 per revenue seat | $140 per revenue seat | Per seat |
Monthly billing costs roughly 10% more on most Professional plans.
Where the bundle's savings come from
Three hubs carry most of the price: Marketing, Content and Data. They're platform fees, so they cost the same whether one person uses them or ten. The bundle folds them in. Sales, Service and Revenue Hub are cheap per seat, so bundling them saves little.
That gives a simple rule. If you need Marketing Hub plus Content Hub or Data Hub, price the bundle. If you only need Marketing and Sales, price the hubs separately first.
Three worked examples
Annual list prices. Assumes extra Sales and Service seats inside the bundle cost the same as the standalone per-seat price ($90 on Professional). Confirm this with HubSpot for your quote.
Marketing plus a 5-person sales team. Separately: Marketing Pro $800 + 5 sales seats × $90 = $1,250/mo. Bundle: $1,300 + 4 extra sales seats = $1,660/mo. Buying separately saves about $410 a month.
Marketing, Sales and Service, small teams (3 reps, 2 support agents). Separately: $800 + 3 × $90 + 2 × $90 = $1,250/mo. Bundle: $1,300 + 3 extra paid seats = $1,570/mo. Separately still wins.
Add Content Hub to the same team. Separately: $1,250 + $450 = $1,700/mo. Bundle: still $1,570/mo. The bundle now wins by $130 a month, and you get 2,000 more credits every month.
What else changes with the bundle
Credits: the bundle includes 5,000 credits a month on Professional and 10,000 on Enterprise. The most you get from any single Professional hub other than Data Hub is 3,000, because credits don't stack across hubs. At $9–10 per 1,000 extra credits, that difference is worth about $20 a month on Professional.
Onboarding: individual hubs each carry their own onboarding fee: $3,000 for Marketing Pro, $1,500 each for Sales and Service Pro. HubSpot sells Customer Platform onboarding as a separate package. Ask for the price in your currency and compare it with the sum of the individual fees before you decide.
Seats: the bundle's 6 or 8 included seats are a mix of seat types, not all full sales or service seats. Check the split in your quote. Anyone who needs sequences, forecasting or help desk tools needs a paid Sales or Service Seat, not a Core Seat.
Future hubs: the bundle includes every hub at your tier. Buying separately, adding a hub later means another platform fee and possibly another onboarding fee.
When buying separately is the better deal
- You need one or two hubs and don't expect to add more within a year.
- Your team is mostly salespeople or support agents on per-seat hubs.
- You need Enterprise in one hub only. Core Seats are priced at your highest tier, so one Enterprise hub raises the price of every extra Core Seat.
When the bundle is the better deal
- You need Marketing plus Content, Data or Revenue at the same tier.
- You plan to use AI agents heavily and want the larger credit allowance.
- You'd rather pay one onboarding package than several.
What to ask your HubSpot rep
- How do the included seats split between Core, Sales, Service and Revenue seats?
- What does an extra Sales or Service seat cost inside the bundle?
- What is the onboarding fee for the Customer Platform, and does it replace the individual hub fees?
- Can we start with individual hubs and convert to the bundle mid-contract without penalty?
- Is the bundle discount applied before or after any negotiated discount?
